I can't believe it however my eldest is 5. Where did those years go, where did my baby go. He has been replaced with a little boy who I am in awe of. We had a lovely morning on the 8th his actual birthday opening presents ,reading new stories and talking to friends and family on the phone and Skype. He got a huge Leggo crane. What was I thinking!!! I must have had a tempory brain lapse (actually that has happened a lot since kinder).I had kind of forgotten that it all comes in pieces and you have to put it together. Thank goodness for the wonderful Bruno up stairs whose eyes lit up on the site of such a wondrous Leggo creation.
We had a lovely birthday party on the Tuesday with some of his little friends. They had water play, rode their bikes and scooters and ate too much party food and cake.Thanks to our personal photographer (thanks Kitschentte) we have some wonderful memories.
The adults celebrated with a glass of Moet. Graham's fabelhaft idea. It has been an amazing 5 years, none of which I would exchange for the world.
