The Romance Of Italy

Life is "Fabelhaft" when you live in the land of holidays, you have just had one in Venice and you are having another one in a week .The only question one has is where do we go in a week for a week. Life is tough.
We just took the boys to Venice for 2 days and had a wonderful time. Jack was fascinated to see a place that had no cars and how everything operated. Venice had not lost its romantic charm , even with 2 children. Italy seems to have this amazing ability to put you at ease . Food, wine, coffee all seems to taste better. We travelled there by train which also had a great novelty factor attached , not only for the little ones, Graham rather enjoyed the experience too. The highlight for Jack was on our departure from our apartment. There was a green rubbish boat doing its rounds in our nearest canal. We had 2 full days in Venice, one was wet the other just awesome. We ate pizza,sipped coffee on the canals, got lost,shopped in the local supermarket,fed the pigeons in Piazza San Marco, watched glass blowing, chased pigeons,people watched and it goes with out saying ate loads of gelato at every opportunity. We had an amazing time. As always life is good on holidays.
